Its the sad reality realizing that most of our life is preoccupied with unimportant things. Time spent not living. Waiting in line; lost; trying to figure out what we are living for. Wishing, wanting, hoping to find a distraction from distractions, to be where we want to be, do what we want to do, even for a brief moment takes ridiculous resources, just to share our life with others.
We are helplessly stuck in a taxi, at the will of the driver. A situation presented itself, and for whatever reason, we got in the taxi. Turning on roads we never wanted to go down. Arriving at places we shouldnt be. More often than not it takes a swift kick in the teeth for us to snap out of it, pull over and get out. It shouldnt be like that.
I dont wanna wake up one day and ask myself “how the hell did i get here, where did i go wrong”, cause by that time it may be too late.
The best in life happens because you made it happen, not because you let it happen
